Lataliana Villa Li is a family-friendly 3-bedroom Seminyak holiday villa rental. Outdoor and pool area

The gardens represent a magical tropical paradise; mature swaying palms, frangipanis, and tropical plants fill the surrounding pool areas. The swimming pools sparkle and flow aimlessly through the garden like a small stream meandering through a tropical forest. At one end, a shallow area provides a sanctuary for the kids to play safely for hours.

The fully imported BBQ is set with hot plates, grills and utensils for the staff to whip up a lunchtime banquet or maybe even a champagne breakfast by the pool in the alfresco dining area. A large antique Joglo dining area features surround speakers, and a separate bale is perfect for an afternoon sleep. There is also a bunch of pool toys to keep the kids entertained for hours – this is a very family-friendly villa.

The living area & games room

Featuring three large living pavilions, the estate provides plenty of communal spaces for guests to interact or find a special quiet place for a spot of reading and relaxation. Featuring opulent hand-made furnishings, plush floor rugs and a mix of antique and traditional artworks, these areas breathe elegance and sophistication. There are plenty of comfy sofas and lounge chairs, along with formal and more relaxed dining areas. The media lounge provides a massive flat-screen TV, play-station, table tennis, a billiard table and even a baby grand piano for endless hours of fun and entertainment.

3 Modern bedrooms with air-con

As a 3-bedroom villa complex, the estate comprises 2 separate buildings: a single-level building that houses one ensuite bedroom, a living and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The second building is ultra-unique, featuring a two-storey building built entirely from timber and modelled on a traditional lumbung (rice barn). This building houses two bedrooms with king-size beds, while the single-level pavilion bedroom has a king-sized bed overlooking the pool. The en-suite bedroom in the single-storey pavilion provides the utmost privacy with its own living room. All rooms provide superior beds, TVs with DVD players, spacious wardrobe areas and wonderful en-suites with garden showers.

Staff and services

The professionally trained and dedicated staff will provide fantastic Balinese hospitality with warmth and tradition. You will be waited on hand and foot by a team of butlers, skilled chefs, maids, gardeners and security guards. If you have kids, there are baby cots and high chairs available. Bicycles are offered complimentary for you to explore the local area, and there is also a free shuttle bus to get you around the wider Seminyak area.

Guests are spoilt with easy access to Seminyak Beach, only 250 metres away, along with the array of beach bars, perfect for enjoying magical sunsets. For lovers of coffee, there are some great cafes nearby where you can also grab a bite to eat with the kids. Make sure you go to Sea Circus, Kim Soo, Livingstones, the popular patisserie Monsieur Spoon and the iconic Sisterfields (opposite Seminyak Village ). There is even a Starbucks close by. For more sophisticated dining, there’s Sarong, Ultimo or perhaps Italian on Petitenget Beach at La Lucciola.

For pre-dinner drinks, nothing beats cocktails at Red Carpet or The Forge, followed by a fun-packed dinner with tequila, lots of music & tacos at Motel Mexicola. You can continue the party at La Favela or Shi Shi, both nearby.

Travelling with kids? A day out at Waterbom Bali in Kuta with its huge waterslides or perhaps some fun at the huge in-door trampoline centre at the Finns Recreation Club in Berawa. You can always take them for a surf lesson at Double Six Beach (you can hire boards here). Follow this up with an authentic Indonesian meal with Legong dancers at Made’s Warung or burgers at Grill’d. For dessert, walk around Seminyak Square, have gelato and do some nighttime souvenir shopping.

The ladies will love the villa’s location as there are many upmarket day spas nearby where you can get your hair and nails done and have one of those dreamy Balinese massages. For the best treatments, go to The Shampoo Lounge, Prana Spa or Spring Day Spa at Seminyak Village. Afterwards, do some shopping in the Oberoi area, where there are upscale boutiques, homeware/jewellery shops and art galleries.
