5 modern bedrooms
All the bedrooms have king-sized beds, and three bathrooms have oversized bathtubs, two open to the sky, adding to the Bali holiday ambience. All bedrooms are modern with all the extras you could ask to keep you relaxed, happy and enjoying a fabulous night’s sleep. Comfortably sleeping up to ten guests, the villa also offers the option of accommodating two extra children upon request (just let your villa account manager know).
Living Room
The spacious villa offers guests ample room to lounge about and relax both indoors and outdoors. On the open-plan terrace are two comfy sofas where you can relax after a couple of laps in the pool.
Dining Room
The massive dining table is big enough to seat up to 12 guests, which is great if you plan on having a dinner party for your friends. The dining area also opens to the verandah, offering guests views of the beach.
Media Room
The plush entertainment room adds some excitement to the villa. It is a great area to keep the kids happy with a satellite TV, a DVD player and a stereo system, making this the perfect rainy-day escape for the whole family.
Garden & Pool
The fabulous 22-metre infinity pool has a shallow end, which is great for kids, with views overlooking the river and more water cascading in from three exquisite waterfalls. There is a spacious sundeck for hours of sunbathing, chilling out, or just some holiday reading. The dense forest surrounding the villa is truly divine. Ancient holy trees offer shade, while the river’s gentle flow provides a soothing natural soundtrack where you can doze off to the sound of the water.

Travelling with kids? Take them to Echo Beach for a surf lesson where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour or for a day trip to Tanah Lot Temple for sunset photos. For dinner, head to the famous Jalan Batu Bolong in Canggu, where there’s pizza at Luguis or Fabbrica, burgers at Milk and Madu, or Mexican food at Taco Casa. For dessert, there’s yummy gelato at Al Baccio and treats at Mad Pops.
Beach Clubs. Villa Maison Matisse is close to some of the best beach clubs in Bali. Make sure you go to The Lawn, The Times, La Brisa, the mega Atlas Beach Fest or the super-popular Finns for sunset cocktails, fine dining and chilling by the pool.
Shopping. Canggu has lots of local markets, boutique shops, homewares and places to buy souvenirs. Head to Jalan Batu Bolong and go from there. Afterwards, cross the Canggu shortcut (which also has many shops) and travel to Berawa, which has even more boutique shops. If that’s not enough, Seminyak’s popular Obewroi area is about 30 minutes away by car, which is a shopper’s dream.
Cafes and Restaurants. If you love your coffee, there are many cafes and restaurants in Central Canggu where you can also take the kids for a biter to eat (your villa manager will arrange transport). Some of the most popular are Sensorium, The Avocado Factory, Greek Taverna, Canggu Garden, Shelter, BAKED, Deus ex Machina, Copenhagen, Mason and Monsieur Spoon.
Want to party? Start the night off at Old Man’s or Blacksand Brewery for pre-dinner drinks, and then it’s off to Lolas Cantina or the new Motel Mexicola for tacos, tequila, and lots of fun. Continue the party at Sandbar or Mejan, where you can party till late.

Took the kids here for the school holidays and spent time by the pool and Seseh beach for a swim every day. Lots of places nearby for dinner which was a bonus. Our villa manager was also a gem and helped us arrange a driver. Overall, the villa was faultless and our stay was 5-star.

If we could stay for longer we would. 9 days was not enough. The kids had such a great time playing in the pool and we loved being so close to the beach. The rooms were lovely, clean and well maintained and the bathrooms were always clean. And, the breakfasts were so yummy - happy to recommend:))
