Villa Maridadi is one of the most popular 5-bedroom holiday villas in Canggu. This tropical oasis is located in a quiet Balinese fishing village called Seseh Beach. It is just a short distance from the famous Tanah Lot Temple on Bali’s South East Coast and the popular tourist hot spot of Jalan Batu Bolong & Echo Beach (3.2 km away) in Canggu.
The villa’s prime beachfront location makes it desirable, but its living areas, bedrooms and outdoor setting certainly add to that factor. The kids will be over the moon with the treehouse and fantastic games room.
Outdoor & Pool Areas
The adults and children alike will be overawed by the impressive 20-metre lap pool; no doubt there will be many fun-filled hours shared here with family and friends. There’s no shortage of sun lounges here for the guests, and a spacious lounge setting and a hammock just in case of a nap are in order. There is also a shared tennis court and a beachfront treehouse the kids will love.
Living Areas
The open-air living pavilion is beautifully decorated with carved timber furnishings, including a mix of dining tables, large daybeds and coffee tables that make a statement. Of course, there is a wonderful kitchen packed with plenty of appliances; feel free to self-cater or ask the in-house chef to surprise you with culinary delights. There is also a games room for the kids that is fully air-conditioned and has a comfy sofa and a billiards table.

A stand-alone pavilion houses the beautiful master bedroom suite; timber floors, a traditional Balinese roof and a private verandah make this room very comfortable, along with its king-size bed. Guests can use the room’s air-con or the ceiling fans to suit, and there is a study and a lovely terrazzo soaking tub in the en-suite. There are another two king-sized bedroom suites with private patios and all the trimmings of the master. Two more junior bedroom suites with twin beds easily converted to doubles exist.

Villa Maridadi is located on the beachfront at Seseh Beach and between Cemagi and Echo Beaches. Around the villa, you can take strolls and see the locals going about seaside village life. A short drive to the north along the coast is the Tanah Lot Temple, which is great for sunsets.
Cafes & restaurants. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby at Echo and Batu Bolong Beaches, such as Deus ex Machina, Crate or The Lawn (for a sunset drink), La Brisa (sensational beach views Echo Beach) & Monsieur Spoon (croissants & coffee) or travel around 40 minutes by car and you will be in the heart of vibrant Seminyak’s Eat Street.
Beach Clubs. For a treat, why not rent your private day bed or cabana at the new mega beach club cafe Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa, where you can enjoy chilled music, delish cocktails, fine food and fabulous beach views as you watch the sunset – this should be on your Bali bucket list!
Travelling with kids? Take them for a surf lesson at Old Man’s beach where you can hire surfboards & instructors by the hour or perhaps a day at the Finns Recreation Club is a good idea as there are water slides, ten-pin bowling and a huge indoor trampoline centre called Bounce. You can also take them to the Tamora Gallery in Berawa, which has a children’s playground. For dinner, they’ll enjoy burgers at Pit Stop or Bang Bang & for dessert, the best gelato is at Al Bacio or Gaya.
Day Spas. For the ladies, there are some upmarket day spas where you can get completely pampered & get your hair and nails done, plus have one of those dreamy Balinese massages in Canggu. Try Goldust Beauty Lounge, MYNX on Jalan Nelayan, the popular Spring day spa & Therapy (near Echo Beach).
Shopping. Follow this up with an afternoon shopping along Jalan Batu Bolong, where you can buy clothes, jewellery, homewares, and souvenirs at the Love Anchor Market, which is open every day. For more shopping options, get your villa manager to arrange transport to take you to the Kartika Plaza area in Kuta (about 60 minutes away), where there are large shopping centres like Lippo or Discovery Shopping Mall.
Food. If you need to stock up on your villa supplies, there’s a large Pepito supermarket about 10 minutes from where you can get all your groceries, snacks for the kids, fresh food, bread & alcohol to take back to the villa.

Fabulous Villa for 3 families .... we were so well looked after!
We travelled to Bali with 3 families (6 Adults & 7 Children). Villa Maridadi was Perfect from the minute we arrived. Yola was there to welcome and show us around - she had even organised a massage for each of us on arrival!! Gusti was brilliant! He was at the Villa every day preparing our meals and cocktails, organising our program and menu for the next day, and answering any questions we had.
The pool and garden were perfect! The sound of the ocean just over the front fence was pretty special too. Villa Maridadi was beautifully clean, and the grounds were kept spotless. The teenagers all enjoyed playing pool in the upstairs games room, and those that needed to watch the AFL Grand Final. There were many different areas to relax and unwind from our busy lives .... we certainly didn't feel as if we were on top of each other.
Made (who drives the villa car) was very patient. He took us here, there and everywhere, battling the chaotic Bali traffic without a hint of stress. After these outings, it was so lovely to return to the Villa's tranquillity. I would recommend Villa Maridadi to anyone wanting a getaway in Bali. Perfect for groups like ours or family celebrations.

Gusti as the main chef cooked magnificent food, catering for the diverse needs of our group. It would be very hard to find better accommodation anywhere.
