The living area is situated right by the pool, making it easy to jump in and out of the water in between enjoying a snack delivered by the room service staff. The Double Six Beach offers an array of great beach bars to welcome sunsets with a cold drink, and Cocoon Beach Club offers fine dining as well as a great Beach Club with an outdoor pool. Also, go to KU DE TA or Potato Head ( both 15 min away by taxi) for a few drinks and dinner. The chilled music, food and sensational beach views are amazing.

For the ladies, there are some upmarket day spas nearby where you can get your hair and nails done and have a dreamy Balinese massage. For the best treatments, go to Prana Day Spa, The Shampoo Lounge or the Blow Bar on Eat Street. Afterwards, you can spend the afternoon browsing the art galleries & boutiques in the Oberoi area. If you’re looking for souvenirs, go to Jalan Legian, where there are lots of local shops where you can buy t-shirts and paintings and grab a real bargain.

If you need your coffee fix, head to Revolver (for the best coffee in Bali) or Seminyak Square, where there are loads of cafes and restaurants nearby. Other great cafes nearby where you can also grab a bite to eat with the family. Make sure you go to Sisterfields, BAKED, Sea Circus, Cornerhouse & Shelter Cafe.

Travelling with kids? You can always take them to the Waterbom Bali in Kuta, where there are massive waterslides or the Finns Recreation Club, where there is a huge indoor trampoline centre and ten-pin bowling. For dinner, nothing beats the ribs at Naughty Nuri’s & dessert at Gusto Gelato or chocolate at Krakakoa.
