Outdoor & Pool Areas

If you’re travelling with children, they will love the expansive gardens and outstretched pool, which will require supervision if they can’t swim. A huge manicured lawn separates the pool from the villa, and the pool is bordered by an array of tropical flowering plants, tall palms and fragrant frangipanis. The pool’s length is great for swimming laps; at one end, a submerged seat is a place to enjoy a cool drink in the sun. The timber pool deck has trendy recliners waiting for you, and the poolside gazebo is the perfect place to enjoy afternoon BBQ dining with the whole family. The rooftop terrace is a great spot to watch amazing sunsets, and the billiard room and bar are great entertainment hubs. On top of all that, there is a shared tennis court for an early morning game.

Living Areas

Villa Surgawi’s living areas are an entertainer’s dream; the large open-plan space gives guests access to the extensive patio area to enjoy an alfresco living environment. The kitchen will dazzle the most qualified foodies; it’s dark granite and white cabinetry make a beautiful statement, and there is every appliance imaginable should you wish to do any of your own catering. There is also a state-of-the-art Bose stereo system with speakers in all living areas, including the pool, for you to create your own holiday ambience. A huge dining table with stately high-back chairs is illuminated by a chandelier, a great place to enjoy quality time with loved ones. Terraces wrap around the villa on all levels creating cozy spaces to enjoy a morning coffee or maybe a pleasant afternoon aperitif before heading out for dinner in Seminyak.

On the ground floor, three-bedroom suites provide accommodation for 6 guests, two double-sized bedrooms, and a third room with twin beds offer opulent sleeping quarters. Two more master suites are located upstairs, and both are a whopping 50sq metres with private lounges, huge walk-in robes, en-suites with twin vanities, huge soaking tubs, and large rain shower stalls, all with wonderful views of the adjacent rice terraces.

Staff & Services

Guests of Villa Surgawi will be pampered by an army of highly trained villa staff overseen by the villa manager, butlers, chefs, maids, and grounds staff will maintain the villa impeccably right throughout your stay. The staff will handle any bookings, including transport, day trips & activities, massages, babysitters and restaurant reservations; all you have to do is turn up!!

Around Villa Surgawi, Canggu (near Cemagi beach & Tanah Lot Temple)

Villa Surgawi is encircled by rice fields and amazing ocean views of the nearby Cemagi Beach. Just a few hundred meters away from the beach, guests can enjoy long walks at low tide along the sand. Tanah Lot temple is nearby, as is the popular Echo, Pererenan and Old Man’s Beach at Canggu.

Travelling with kids? The Finns Recreation Club is around 20 mins from the villa, where the kids will enjoy ten-pin bowling, the water Fun Park and a massive indoor trampoline centre called Bounce. From here, central Seminyak, with loads of restaurants and cafes, is only a further 10 mins away. For a fun day out, Tanah Lot Temple is great for sunset photos, and Ubud’s famous Monkey Forest is well worth a visit. There are burgers at Pit Stop, BB52 or Penny Lane for dinner. And nothing beats the gelato at Al Bacio or Gaya at Echo Beach for dessert.

There are many cafes and restaurants to take the whole family to Canggu, where you can grab a bite. Make sure you go to Milk and Madu, Shady Shack (for great vegan dishes), the popular Crate, The Lawn for the best vibe for sunset drinks and the famous Deus ex Machina. For a treat, make sure you go to the new mega beach club Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa for sunset cocktails and amazing beach views. You should visit nearby beach clubs La Brisa on Echo Beach, KU DE TA and Potato Head in Seminyak.

For the ladies, there are upmarket day spas in the Batu Bolong area of Canggu where you can get your hair and nails done and have a dreamy Balinese massage. For the best treatments, visit AMO, Goldust Beauty Lounge, Tonic or Spring Day Spa. Follow this up with an afternoon shopping in the chic Oberoi area of Seminyak, where you’ll find art galleries, homewares and jewellery stores.
