The spacious wooden decking area on The Chands Two terrace has comfy day beds where you can sunbathe, catch up on some holiday reading, or watch the kids play in the pool. Enjoy a dip in the private swimming pool and afterwards go for a long sunset walk on the beach. There’s also a poolside gazebo where you can escape the midday sun and curl up for a midday nap or perhaps grab an in-villa massage. The garden provides extra privacy with lush tropical plants that only enhance the magical ocean backdrop.

The Chands Two has fully air-conditioned enclosed living areas where you can escape the heat and relax with your friends or family on the plush sofas. A fully equipped kitchenette allows guests to cook snacks for the kids or eat a bit before heading out for a day shopping in Seminyak. The Chands Two is in a perfect beachfront location that’s also handy to some of Seminyak’s most popular beach clubs, day spas, restaurants, and shops.

Cafes & restaurants. If you love your coffee and a bite to eat, there are some great places to take the family for a meal. Head to Sisterfields opposite Seminyak Village (family-friendly), Monsieur Spoon, Cornerhouse, Batik, the super-popular Revolver (in Seminyak & Canggu), and Watercress. In Berawa, Milk and Madu, Butterman, BAKED and Milu by Nook are nearby.

Fancy Partying?  Start the night off at 707 Beach Bern on Batu Belig Beach, where you can watch the sunset over a few cold cocktails at the Champagne Bar, Nirvana Sports Bar, or The Goat on Eat Street. Continue the party at Motel Mexicola, where there are tacos, tequila shots and fun times. Finally, head to La Favela or Shi Shi, where you can dance till dawn.

Day Spas.  Ladies, some of the best day spas in Seminyak are nearby, where you can get your hair and nails done and have one of those dreamy Balinese massages. For the best services, head to Rob Peetoom or Sundari Day Spa in Petitenget, Think Pink Nails in Batu Belig, JAMU in Berawa or Spring Day Spa in Canggu.

Shopping.  Seminyak is the shopping heart of Bali. First, go to Jalan Kayu Aya (Eat Street), where you can buy homewares, jewellery, clothes and souvenirs. Then, head to the Beachwalk shopping centre in Kuta or the Legian area for more shopping options. Nearby, Berawa has shops in the popular Jalan Pantai Berawa area, and central Canggu has some great shops on Jalan Batu Bolong.

Beach Clubs.  If you want to watch fabulous Balinese sunsets, listen to great music and enjoy fine dining and a few sundowners, then head to some of Seminyak’s most famous beach clubs nearby. Make sure you visit KU DE TA, Potato Head, Cafe Del Mar and the new mega beach club Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa.

Travelling with kids?  Take them to the Finns Recreation Club with waterslides, ten-pin bowling and an indoor trampoline centre. There is also Watrebom Bali in Kuta for a fun day out on the waterslides. They’ll also like a surf lesson on Old Man’s Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. You can also hire a car for the day or get a driver to take the family to the Monkey Forest in Ubud, Tanah Lot or Uluwatu Temple for sunset photos or Waterbom Bali in Kuta for a fun day out on the massive waterslides. There’s Indonesian at Warung Mades, delish burgers at BB52 or ribs at Wild Hog or Naughty Nuris in Kerobokan for dinner.
