The villa, as you would expect, is fully staffed with housekeepers, gardeners and a manager who is there to ensure your stay is blissful. He will happily arrange tours, dinner reservations, car hire, shopping tips and spa treatments at the villa.

Around Villa Ashira, Seminyak (near Double Six Beach)

Because the villa is located on Jalan Drupadi, this means you are within 5 – 10 minutes of easy walking distance to Jalan Kayu Aya, also known as Eat Street, where there are dozens of restaurants, bars, shops and cool cafes where you can sit, relax and enjoy a cafe latte. You will not find a more central location if you are into your food and shopping. Make sure you try Cornerhouse, the popular Sisterfields, Monsieur Spoon, BAKED or Revolver for great coffee. All of these places are family-friendly, so take the kids!!

Shopping. For shoppers, head to Seminyak Square, make your way up to Jalan Kayu Aya and walk the length of Jalan Legian. You’ll find lots of shopping options to buy clothes, jewellery, homewares and Bali souvenirs here.

Beach Clubs. For a treat, why not make your way to the new mega beach club Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa, where you can rent your private day bed while you sip on a few cocktails and enjoy the music, beach views and happening ambience? If you want to party a bit, visit the famous Dyana Pura Street, where there is live music and busy pubs. You can also go to the popular Champagne Bar or The Goat, followed by dinner at Motel Mexicola. You are also within a 5-10 min walk to Double Six beach in Legian, famous for cafes, restaurants, shopping, nightlife and sunset watching. Make sure you head to Double Six Beach for the sunset and grab a bean bag at La Plancha with a cold Bintang or a cocktail & a bite to eat.

Coming to Bali with the kids.  There are also loads to do and attractions nearby, including Finns Recreation Club (where there are water slides, trampolines and ten-pin bowling) as well as the famous Waterbom Bali ( Asia’s premier theme park ) and  Seminyak Village, which has heaps of restaurants and shops. There is even a Candylicious for after-dinner treats. They might even enjoy a surf lesson at Double Six Beach, where you can hire a board and instructor.

Day Spas. Ladies, there are some fabulous day spas nearby where you can get your hair and nails done and have one of those dreamy Balinese massages. For the best treatments, go to Spring Day Spa at Seminyak Village, The Blow Bar on Eat Street or Sundari Day Spa in Petiternget.
