Massive mature trees, tropical plants, palms and flowers of all descriptions fill the gardens with expansive manicured lawns that can cater for weddings and private functions of up to 80 guests. The lap pool stretches far into the garden with its calming waterfall feature at the far end. There is an antique garden joglo and an alfresco dining area on the terrace for sumptuous BBQ meals.
Living Areas
Every modern amenity perfectly complements the rich interior furnishings for a tropical living experience. The main two-storey pavilion houses the more formal dining and living spaces, while upstairs, a more relaxed space has a large sofa, billiards table and views over the huge gardens. The formal dining table seats 8 guests and is decorated with verdant antiques and ornaments. There is a separate air-conditioned media room with an extensive library, TV and plenty of sofa space.

Guests will enjoy two king-sized master suites, air-conditioned with private sitting rooms that can convert to extra bedrooms if needed. The rooms have all your creature comforts, including cable TVs, DVDs, large built-in robes, safety boxes and minibars. The en-suite bathrooms feature large soaking bathtubs, rain showers and twin vanities. The guest suites are comfortable and offer all the same amenities, including rain showers in the en-suites to add to that tropical holiday ambience.
Staff & Services
The villa is serviced by a very experienced team of friendly staff; they are well-versed in looking after families and young children. They are very capable of managing larger functions such as weddings. There are scooters, chauffeur-driven cars, in-house spa services, and babysitters, all available at an extra cost.
Around Villa Avalon, Canggu (close to Cafe Del Mar & Berawa beach)
The villa is almost right on Berawa Beach, so you can walk around 5-10 minutes to the new mega beach club, Cafe Del Mar. The Finns Recreation Club offers great fun for the kids, including a water fun park, trampolining centre, ten-pin bowling and much more.
Cafes & restaurants. If you love your coffee, there are loads of great cafes and restaurants in the Berawa area near the villa, where you can also grab a bite to eat with the kids. Make sure you go to Milk & Madu ( they have a play area for the kids ), Peleton Supershop, Watercress, Tamora Gallery ( for a selection of cafes), Matcha & the popular Milu by Nook.
Travelling with kids? Take them to the Finns Recreation Club, where there are waterslides, ten-pin bowling and a massive indoor trampoline centre. They might also like a surf lesson on Berawa Beach, where you can hire boards & instructors by the hour. For a fun day out, take them to the famous Monkey Forest Temple in Ubud for the day or sunset photos at the holy Hindu Tanah Lot Temple on the water. For dinner, they’ll love the Indonesian food at Warung Mades or the ribs and burgers at Wild Hog. For dessert, there’s yummy ice cream at Kynd Community or gelato at Gusto in Kerobokan.
If you want to stock up on villa supplies, there are two huge supermarkets nearby ( Popular & Canggu Station) that have everything you could want, including alcohol & snacks for the kids.
Day Spas. There are some upmarket day spas nearby for the girls where you can get your hair and nails done and have a fabulous Balinese massage. For the best treatments, head to Think Pink Nails in Batu Belig, one of Bali’s most popular day spas, or Spring Day Spa in Batu Bolong. You might also like Rob Peetoom or Sundari Day Spa in Petitenget.
Shopping. Follow this up with an afternoon browsing the art galleries, homewares & jewellery stores in the chic Oberoi area or perhaps strolling up and down the popular Jalan Batu Bolong.
Beach Clubs. For sunset drinks, you must visit Atlas Beach Fest on the beach. Come here around 4 pm, grab a cocktail and enjoy the chilled music, the 5-star service, the sensational beach views and the amazing sunset!
