Outdoor & Pool Areas

The angular-shaped swimming pool runs the length of the main pavilion, with a spacious pool deck providing shelter so you can keep an eye on the kids out of the hot sun. However, there are plenty of comfy spots for the sun worshippers; flop into one of the poolside beanbags or stretch out on a king-sized sun lounge recliner, acquire some shade from one of the parasols, or break out the coconut oil and be the envy of your friends, once you return home with that golden holiday tan.

Living Areas

The downstairs living areas are open-air, designed to take in views of the immediate pool, sprawling lawns and lush tropical gardens. A double-height ceiling with cooling fans makes for absolute comfort whilst enjoying a good movie or maybe some live sport from across the globe. An 8 seater dining table is positioned to also take in poolside views, whilst the gourmet kitchen is designed to cater from anything to light snacks right up to a specially prepared banquet for 8 or more prepared by your private chef.

Four-bedroom sanctuaries are furnished with king-sized beds, beautifully draped in fine white netting, and all rooms have fantastic garden views. On the upper floor, the Master suite also boasts a deep soaking tub to soothe those tired muscles. In its own private pavilion is a family suite, it features a King-sized bed as well as twin singles and a mezzanine floor, making it the ideal family room. Whitewashed timbers, splashes of natural bamboo and open-air en-suites provide that quintessential Bali holiday vibe.

Around Villa Kami, Canggu (near Berawa and the trendy Batu Bolong area in Canggu)

Villa Kami is ideally positioned to enjoy holiday peace and quiet as well as all the best tourist attractions in the area. The villa is particularly close to both Berawa and Echo beaches, renowned for great surf and the associated fabulous cafes and restaurants, the afternoon seafood BBQ at Echo Beach as you watch the waves rolling in is a must-do.

If you can’t live without your coffee there are loads of amazing cafes nearby where you can get your daily coffee fix and take the kids for a bite to eat. Head to the super-popular Milk & Madu ( they have a playground for the kids), Peloton Supershop, Milu by Nook, Matcha, Batu Beets  for great salads, Nude, BAKED (for the best pastries) and the array of cafes at the newly built Tamora Gallery.

For those that want to keep up their daily yoga practice, there are some great studios nearby that have daily classes for all levels. Head to The Practice, Samadi Yoga or Pranava. There’s also an F45 studio in Canggu for cardio workouts.

For a treat head to the new mega beach club Cafe Del Mar in Batu Belig ( about 15 min away) where you can have a few cocktails or cold Bintang’s followed by a meal in your own private day bed or cabana as you watch the best sunset in Bali. Other beach clubs worth visiting include La Brisa at Echo Beach & Tropicola at Batu Belig, Old Man’s or The Lawn ( both at the end of Batu Bolong) and Potato Head or Mano Beach House in Petitenget. Make sure you also take a look at the new massive  beach club in Berawa called Holywings for sunset cocktails and dinner.

Ladies, Canggu has lots of upmarket day spas where you can get your hair and nails done plus have one of those sensational Balinese massages. Some of the best are AMO, MYNX, Goldust Beauty Lounge, Therapy and the popular Spring day spa. Follow this up with an afternoon browsing the art galleries, homewares & jewellery stores in the chic Oberoi area ( which is a 25 min Blu Bird taxi ride away). You’ll also find Love Anchor market along Jalan Batu Bolong that sells lots of Bali souvenirs and gifts to take back home which is open every day.

Travelling with kids? The Finns Recreation Centre is a world of fun; waterslides, bouncing trampolines and ten-pin bowls which will keep them entertained for hours on end. They’ll also like a surf lesson at Old Man’s Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. Make sure you take them for sunset photos at Tanah Lot Temple or for a fun day out at the popular Monkey Forest Temple in Ubud is a great idea. For dinner, take them to BB52 or Pit Stop burgers, followed by yummy gelato at Al Bacio or Gaya at Echo Beach.
