Outdoor & Living Areas

The pool and living area share the same space; the open-sided living room sits right by the pool. At one end, a small timber deck houses sun recliners so you can work on your holiday tan as your travelling companions relax on the poolside lounge watching some sport on the large wall-mounted plasma TV. The living area is decorated in earthly tones and has a cozy, faun-coloured sofa set.

The two bedrooms are simple yet elegant with a touch of minimalist design features, both with premium king-size beds and views out to the pool. There are large flat screens in both rooms along with air-conditioning. The en-suites are spacious, with good-sized soaking tubs and monsoon showers in both.

Around Villa Kunti, Seminyak (near Double Six Beach & Bintang Supermarket)

Just across Sunset Road along Jalan Kunti 1, you will find Bali Deli, a great supermarket and café with ATMs and a Periplus book store there as well. Further past Bali Deli, some great casual dining can be enjoyed at The Rolling Fork, Taco Beach Grill and Warung Italia.

Girls, if you need some pampering, head to Prana Spa just opposite Bali Deli for one of the best spa experiences in Bali. Other great day spas nearby worth checking out include Jari Menari, The Shampoo Lounge and Spring Day Spa at Seminyak Village. Follow this up with an afternoon shopping along Jalan Legian, where there are local vendors keen to bargain and sell you clothes, jewellery & souvenirs. For a wider choice of shopping options, make your way to the Kartika Plaza area in Kuta (about 20 min away by taxi or Go Jek), where you’ll find Lippo Mall & Discovery Shopping Plaza. Closer to the villa, you can go to the Oberoi area, where there are art galleries, upmarket boutiques, The Seminyak Flea Market & homewares shops.

For the best sunset in Bali, simply walk to Double Six Beach, pull up a bean bag at one of the many beachside cafes and enjoy the ambience. This is where everyone goes at about 4 pm, and the music, food, cocktails and people-watching is well worth it.

Some great beach clubs are also nearby, such as KU DE TA or Potato Head. But for a real experience, why not hop into a taxi and go to the new mega beach club Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa (25 min away), where you can rent your own private day bed or cabana for the day and enjoy the chilled music, great service, delish cocktails and dreamy beach views – this should be high on your Bali bucket list.

Travelling with kids? Take them for a fun day out on the massive water slides at Waterbom Bali or perhaps a surf lesson at Double Six Beach, where you can hire boards and an instructor by the hour.  For dinner, head to Eat Street, and you’ll find Seminyak Village & Seminyak Square, where there are loads of cafes, restaurants and shops. Try: Monsieur Spoon or BAKED (for great croissants), Sisterfields, BossMan or Grill’d Burger and Happy Chappy’s Chinese. Afterwards, take them to Made’s Manis Gelato or Gusto Gelato for a treat.

Fancy Partying? Start the night at The Champagne Bar or The Goat on Eat Street for pre-dinner drinks. Then it’s off to Motel Mexicola for tacos, tequila and lots of fun. Continue the night at Sh Shi or La Favela, where you can dance till dawn.
