Shamballa Moon is a gorgeous 1-bedroom Ubud holiday villa rental located in a central Ubud area close to the heart of town, where you are only 2.9 km from Ubud Market and Ubud Palace. So you get the best of both worlds: peace and tranquillity, yet close to all the buzz and excitement of the famous Ubud.
1 bedroom (with jungle views)
The villa has one large bedroom on the second level with views of the jungle. There is a four-poster king-size bed with a private en suite bathroom. There’s another semi-outdoor bathroom on the ground floor for convenience, with a bathtub for a relaxing soak after a day’s sightseeing of Ubud’s main attractions. The bedroom has a balcony where you can sit and enjoy fantastic views from Mount Agung.
Swimming pool & outdoor areas
The focal point of Shamballa Moon is the gorgeous swimming pool (6 metres), which is perfect for an early morning swim before breakie or just a midday dip to cool off after some sun baking on the poolside day beds. There’s also a great outdoor gazebo/bale where you can curl up with a book and look out over the lush vegetation and pool; imagine sipping a few afternoon cocktails here before you head out for dinner in Ubud.
Living areas
The main living area is semi-opened, where guests can easily access the swimming pool. There’s a huge sofa where you can sit in the evenings and enjoy the latest Netflix series on the large flat-screen TV. There is also a dining area where couples can enjoy a romantic meal or have lunch before heading off to the local area.

Wow. Shamballa Moon is truly a hidden gem! I’m so glad a friend recommended it to us for our honeymoon because my husband and I were blown away by how secluded it was, how gorgeous the villas were, and most of all the service!!!
The staff at Shamballa is so friendly and responsive towards their guests and really went above and beyond. One night we were craving chocolate cake but were told they didn’t have any in stock, so the staff went out into town and bought us two slices! And even got extra for the following night. We were blown away and feel so much gratitude towards everyone who made our honeymoon feel so special. The breakfasts were also amazing and I had the best pineapple pancakes I’ve ever eaten (ordered them 5 days in a row, couldn’t get enough!).
The property itself is absolutely stunning and the perfect spot for a romantic getaway. I would highly recommend Shamballa Moon and Shamballa Residence to anyone and would like to thank the staff there a million times over for every little detail and thing they did to make our experience one I will never forget.

Best honeymoon villa ever!
This was our first villa we stayed in during our honeymoon and one of our absolutely FAVOURITES. It was a perfect way to start the trip. Once we landed the driver was promptly waiting for us at the airport and was even available to drive us around the whole time during our stay. The villa has super chic, white minimalist interior while feeling homey and beautiful.
The complimentary breakfast everyday in AMAZING!!! You MUST try the banana & pineapple pancakes (seriously the best we have ever had in our lives). I would come back JUST for the pancakes. All of the staff is very friendly and treated us like a king and queen for our honeymoon, all at such a reasonable price tag as well :)

Spent a week here and loved every moment. The seclusion, privacy and gorgeous setting made Shamballa Moon the best place for the 2 of us to unwind and completely relax. The staff and service was 5 star and getting to the best cafes in Ubud was also easy. Would love to come back!

You can also store your luggage at the Villa for the afternoon and return to meet your driver at a specified time, who will take you to Bali airport.
