Sanur itself has loads of family-friendly cafes and restaurants on the main shopping and dining strip or along its famous beachfront, offering a convenient and exciting location for your holiday.
Travelling with kids? Take them to Sanur Beach for some snorkelling or perhaps a surf lesson on the outer reef. You can hire boards and instructors by the hour. For dinner head to the main area Jl. Danau Tamblingan and go into any of the cafes dotted along the road. Try Genius Cafe, or Shot Gun social. For a treat the beach cafes are also well worth a look as they have great western and Indonesian food with the bonus of incredible beach views.
Shopping. Sanur is now a shopping hub of East Bali and all you need to do is walk up and down Jl. Danau Tamblingan where you can buy clothes, jewellery, homewares and souvenirs. The Icon Mall offers more shopping options and Seminyak an hour away by car is another shopping hub.
Beach Clubs. Sanur itself doesn’t offer the beach club experience that you’ll find in Canggu or Seminyak but nearby in Uluwatu you’ll be able to go to El Kabron, Savaya, Ulu Beach House and The Rock Bar.
Great Day Trips. For a bit of sightseeing Sanur makes and excellent launchpad where you can see other interesting parts of the island like Ubud, Keramas (great if your into surfing), Jimbaran and Uluwatu. Your villa manager will be able to arrange transport.
