The main lounge & dining pavilion is open on three sides, allowing cool tropical breezes to flow while ceiling fans keep you comfortable. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and is discretely positioned out of sight from the living areas. Around Villa Windu Sari, Seminyak (easy 10 min walk to beach & Ku De Ta)
There is no shortage of things to do close to the villa. Situated right on the Petitenget strip, guests will enjoy the very best parts of Seminyak, with the most in-vogue cafes, bars, and restaurants to hang out at. The Petitenget Beach is with La Lucciola (for delicious Italian on the beach), and Seminyak and Batu Belig Beaches are just a casual stroll along the sand.
Beach Clubs. Make sure you go to the newly built mega beach club Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa (about 10 minutes away by taxi) for sunset cocktails and a few cold Bintangs in your private cabana. Closer to the villa are Mano Beach House, The WooBar, Ku De Ta, and Potato Head beach clubs, where everyone goes for the great ambience, awesome beach views, signature cocktails, and fine dining on the beach.
Fancy Partying? Start the night off with pre-dinner drinks at The Champagne Bar, The Forge, The Goat, or Nirvana Sports Bar. Then, it’s off to Motel Mexicola for tacos and tequila. Continue the party at La Favela or Shi Shi, where you can dance until dawn.
Travelling with kids? Take them to Waterbom Bali in Kuta (Asia’s premier water theme park) or The Finns Recreation Club, where there are waterslides, ten-pin bowling and a massive indoor trampoline centre. Eat Street has loads of places to take them for a meal. Try Johnny Rockets, Sisterfields, the popular Cornerhouse or Sea Circus for a treat. There are also burgers at BossMan, tasty ribs at Naughty Nuri’s, great Indonesian food at Nook & for dessert, there’s yummy gelato at Gusto in Kerobokan.
Cafes & restaurants. If you love your coffee, then you’re in luck as there are some fabulous cafes nearby where you can also take the kids for a bite to eat.. Head to the super popular Revolver, Kynd Community, Pison, Coffee Cartel, Dough Darlings, Livingstones, Monsieur Spoon (great for pastries & croissants), Kim Soo (you can buy homewares) & Starbucks along Jalan Kayu Aya.
Day Spas. For the ladies, there are many upmarket day spas where you can get your hair and nails done and have one of those wonderful Balinese massages. Go to Therapy Day Spa, Sundari Day Spa, Rob Peetoom in Petitenget or JI VI opposite Seminyak Village.
Shopping. Follow this up with an afternoon shopping in the chic Oberoi area, where you can browse art galleries, jewellery & homewares stores. Head into Legian, where you can bargain with locals for Bali souvenirs. For more shopping options, hop into a taxi and make your way to the Kartika Plaza area in Kuta, where you’ll find Discovery Shopping, the massive Beachwalk & Lippo Mall.
