Mason Uluwatu
If you love Bali and have stayed in Canggu, you already know Mason – one of the island’s hottest places to be for food and cocktails. The greatest news is Mason just came to Uluwatu, featuring a tropical indoor/outdoor restaurant with an open kitchen. Munch on mouthwatering woodfired food, quality cuts of meat, fresh seafood and slow-cooked short ribs. The cocktails here are too good to be true. Try it out!

Have you ever had a plant-based fried egg? Here’s your chance at Nourish restaurant in Uluwatu. This cafe and pizzeria have two locations on The Bukit, offering healthy, nutritious food made with organic and locally-sourced ingredients. The Bingin location even has a whole food shop attached to the cafe, making it possible to take some of their fresh goods back to your villa. Kelly’s Warung
OMG, Kelly’s Warung is an amazing cafe right on Bingin Beach and gives you gorgeous views over Bingin Beach. It’s a casual cafe with the usual snacks and drinks, but it’s the original hang in Bingin and has the reputation for the best place to watch the sunset with a few ice-cold Bintangs. It’s at Bingin Beach, so you have to go down the rocky path to get there but well worth the effort. Get here early for a prime seat as the sun sets.

El Kabron
EL Kabron is a famous absolute beachfront restaurant where you can munch on fresh seafood and Mediterranean delights. This beach club and hot dining spot boasts panoramic sunset, ocean views, and a gorgeous infinity swimming pool. Live music, sunset sky, sangria and tapas. This place is just phenomenal!

Single Fin
Single Fin is the clifftop bar and restaurant right above the famous Uluwatu surf break. It’s always packed with people and a great place to get a pizza, burger, fish, and chips with some beers around sunset. Come back later in the evening, and you are in for a party. The outdoor terrace has fantastic views of surf and Bali’s world-famous sunset. The ambience is laid-back. Check their event calendar, as international DJs often play their set or great local live bands.

Sitting right above Bingin Beach, this trendy and hip modern restaurant and boutique features indoor and outdoor tables. It’s a screen-free venue where no laptops or tablets are allowed. Gooseberry Restaurant features contemporary dining experiences with locally sourced ingredients and French influences. On the menu, you’ll find prime-aged steaks and other cuts of meat. Drifter Surf Cafe Uluwatu
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and live music, Drifter Surf is a great place to go out for dinner and a fabulous hang-out spot all day, every day of the week. Healthy and fresh food, organic whole food, plant-based and locally sourced – everything anyone needs after an active surfing session at sea. The coffee is also amazing, and we love the cold-pressed juices. Friday nights are not to be missed if you’re into live bands.

The Cashew Tree
A longtime favourite hang-out in Uluwatu is The Cashew Tree. This lovely cafe and restaurant has a big garden for alfresco dining, yoga sessions and kids. La Baracca
La Baracca is the place to be for authentic Italian home-cooked food with a contemporary twist. This Uluwatu restaurant has a vintage look with rustic interiors, reclaimed wood, and other recycled materials. Chela
Chela is a fun and hip tropical restaurant and a hang-out spot in Uluwatu serving Middle Eastern food. Great for sharing with friends, this fabulous restaurant is tucked in a giant bamboo structure that is absolutely gorgeous. You can sit together at a table or on the floor on pillows. The sampler platters to share are delicious, offering a mix of sweet and savoury delights. There are vegan and vegetarian options, as well.

Lola’s Cantina Mexicana
