Where to find vegan/organic menus & vegetarian-friendly food in Seminyak you’ll keep coming back for?
Gone are the days when your average vegan hang meant eating alfalfa sprouts with a bunch of hippies. Bali has taken vegetarian cuisine to a new mouth-watering Instagrammable level.
The fashionable Seminyak has so much to offer, depending on what you’re looking for on your Bali holiday. It is not as hectic as neighbouring Kuta or Legian and not as laid back and chilled out as hipster Canggu, which is stretched along its northern side. Seminyak is evolving into the epicentre of organic cafes in Bali. All the food is (as you would expect) prepared with fresh local organic fruit & veggies. For those with a sweet tooth, there are guilt-free desserts plus organic coffee for that morning caffeine hits.

Divine Earth (currently closed)
One of our favourites on the list of organic cafes in Seminyak, Divine Earth is much more than a vegan cafe. Their food selection is simply delightful, with so many choices to go for. Try their beautiful vegan substitutions of pasta, pizzas, burgers, hummus, samosa, sushi and more. The unbeatable attraction in our opinion is the secluded cinema hall hidden above the restaurant. Imagine watching some movies, stretching on the comfy sofa while biting on your mouthwatering vegan hotdog, sipping on something called Ginger Float, a special recipe of homemade ginger beer & aloe vera, and concluding this revel with to-die-for signature banoffee terrine. Check their program on the website, and book the spot beforehand. A yoga studio is next door, so you can get that hunger going with a quick Hatha class.

Boy’N’Cow
The name speaks for itself – those subsisting on a vegetable or strict vegan diet, not this time, guys. On the other hand, meat lovers might be pleasantly surprised with that claiming to be Bali’s first ‘Meat Boutique’ steakhouse set at the top of Oberoi road, alias Eat Street of Seminyak. Boy’N’Cow is proud of its unique cooking method when, before cutting and grilling your organic meat, they first dry-age it for 28 days. Their grain or grass-fed beef is delivered from sustainable farms in Australia and the US. We know how much a good steak means for those meat experts; Boy’NCow guarantees to delight even the most discerning taste buds. This has got to be one of the best steak venues in Bali. Kynd Community
This is now one of the most popular healthy cafes in Seminyak. It’s become so popular that they had to move next door to bigger premises. Fresh food, a fun vibe and delicious dishes make this a must-visit organic cafe. It serves the usual fare of healthy dishes: salads, wraps, and smoothies, but somehow, Kynd seems to have wholly captured and dominated the organic cafe market in Seminyak.
