There are 5 fully air-conditioned and modern bedrooms at Atas Ombak, three in the main building and two in the ocean pavilion close to the beach, where you can hear the sound of waves as you fall asleep – how dreamy!
The large main bedroom has a dressing area with a massive open-air ensuite bathroom for maximum privacy, a bathtub, and a private plunge pool for those romantic evenings. And it has commanding views over the ocean. So wake up and go for an early morning dip in the sea before returning to the villa for brekkie. All the other rooms have a calm, relaxed beachie vibe with views over the ocean, air conditioning, TVs, safes and, of course, your private ensuite bathrooms.

The 14-metre oceanfront pool is breathtaking and is ideal for swimming laps taking your first morning dip, and provides a shallow section for children to play while you relax on the day beds and enjoy a few cocktails or cold Bintangs. I attended a wedding here last week, what a magnificent event, from the fabulous vista right on the edge of the beach, to the fairy lights in the frangipani trees, festooned floral arch and arrangements on the tables. We stayed here as 3 small families - spread across the 5 bedrooms. It was perfect! What makes it truly special and unique is the location, the grounds and the staff.
The location is ideal, a private oasis nestled between Seminyak and Canggu. All my favourite restaurants are minutes away and accessible with a short beach walk.
The grounds are huge, plenty of room for kids to explore. The pool has spectacular views and most evenings, we were in it watching the sunset.
The staff made the trip! They were friendly and professional and always delivered exceptional service. I have stayed at many of the best hotels and villas in Bali and with the language barrier, expect minor confusion with orders and booking requests.
