Around Villa Darma, Seminyak (close to Double Six Beach and Eat Street)
Jalan Drupadi, in the heart of Bali’s hip and happening Seminyak, provides guests with easy access to Jalan Oberoi for fine dining and some boutique shopping: this is the spot to be. Headed in the opposite direction, you will reach the beach at Gado-Gado restaurant and a little further on Double Six Beach, where shops, cafes and beach bars exist.
Beach clubs. Villa Darma is in a great location if you want to watch the sunset at Double Six beach, as it’s close by. This is the place to be from 4 pm onwards. Grab a bean bag (at the restaurants on the beach) and a cold Bintang and watch the best sunset in Bali. Other nearby beach clubs worth visiting are KU DE TA, Potato Head in Seminyak, the new Atas Beach Fest in Berawa and Cafe Del Mar in Batu Belig.
Shopping. If you are keen on shopping, all you need to do is go to Seminyak Square, where there are many shops, boutiques and places to buy gifts and souvenirs. For more shopping options, head to Kuta or Legian, where you can bargain with locals for souvenirs.
Travelling with kids? Take them to Waterbom Bali in Kuta (Asia’s premier water theme park) for a fun day out for the family on the waterslides.
