You can stroll from the villa into the streets of Seminyak and discover bars, restaurants and hip boutiques where you can eat, drink and shop as much as you like. Villa Minggu is in a fabulous location where you are close to well-known restaurants like Made Warungs, Sisterfields, Cornerhouse and Jl Camplung Tanduk, which will take you down to the Double Six entertainment area.

Cafes & restaurants. There are some great cafes and restaurants near Villa Minggu where you can grab a coffee and take the kids for a bite. Ensure you also visit the super popular Revolver, Pison, Shelter, Monsieur Spoon, BAKED & Kynd (for great organic coffee & food).
Shopping. The best place to shop is at Seminyak Square and Jalan Kayu Aya, also nearby. Many local vendors are around the villa if you want to grab a souvenir. For more shopping options, head to Seminyak Village, which has a range of stylish boutiques. There are also loads of shopping in Legian and Kuta, where you can bargain with locals for souvenirs. There are also large shopping centres like Lippo and Discovery Shopping Mall.
Beach Clubs. There are some great beach clubs nearby where you can watch the sunset over the ocean with a few cocktails, fine dining and chilled music. Make sure you go to KU DE TA, Mrs Sippy and Potato Head. Other beach clubs worth visiting are La Brisa at Echo Beach, Finns in Berawa and the mega Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa.
Travelling with kids? If you’re coming with the kids, take them to the Waterbom Bali in Kuta for a fun day out for the whole family or perhaps a surf lesson at Seminyak Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. For dinner, there are burgers at Grill’d, BossMan or Johnny Rockets and the best ribs at Naughty Nuris, or authentic Indonesian food at Mades Warung. They’ll enjoy the gelato at Gusto in Kerobokan or treat at Candylicious opposite Seminyak Village for dessert.

In addition, the staff at Villa Minggu were very friendly and always eager to help the family with delicious snacks and preparing incredibly healthy breakfasts - we will miss you both!
Yayuk and Ina even prepared a birthday cake for my son, who was turning 5 - now that was a real treat! The location was a dream, and we could easily pop out for a bit of shopping or beach time whenever we wanted. For the price and location, I would recommend this holiday villa to any family wanting a slice of paradise.

Fabulous room, helpful and courteous villa staff combined with a cool location make this one of the best villas we have stayed in Bali. We loved the gym, sauna and jacuzzi and the kids enjoyed the pool and entertainment facilities. A great experience, and a huge thanks to Dewi at Bali Villa Escapes for her attention to this and for organising the extra cots.

My wife and 3 children loved this villa, especially the top Seminyak location. Being close to Double Six meant that we could easily head to the restaurants on the beach at night for dinner and watch those gorgeous sunsets. Everything was meticulously maintained, and the rooms we all very comfortable, clean and made daily.

Loved the villa atmosphere and felt at home as soon as we arrived and were greeted by the staff with a welcome drink. The fantastic location was close to 'Eat St', perfect for those family nights. The staff, room and pool were top-notch, and I could not fault it - for the price per night, I recommend a stay here.

We had the best time staying at Villa Minggu. Friendly staff who cooked lovely morning breakfasts for the family before we started looking around Seminyak.
We loved coming back to the villa, closing the doors and being in our luxury oasis.
It was centrally located and close to many nice restaurants we soon discovered. Ask the manager to point out where to go. Go to Potato Head and Ku De Ta, which was close by as well - also Warung Made ( take the kids there for great Info food)!
Happy to recommend this to anyone who wants a fab location and a bit of luxury.

Great for Big Groups Stay
Great villa with great service. We were greeted on the first day of our check in, and given a tour of the villa by Chris after the place was cleaned up (we arrived early!). The villa helpers were really friendly and attentive and the best part - the breakfast provided every morning was superb! (It was also a pleasure to watch our breakfast being cooked by Aini and team!)
The place is a little worn after being around for years (especially being in a tropical location like Bali) and it can be seen in the mirrors in the main living room. But as it is, the place is still such a gem, and the little stains on the mirrors do not disrupt any activities.
Overall, our group enjoyed having Minggu Villa as our respite and base in Bali, being well accessible, and surrounded by many mini-marts makes things convenient.
We had such a great stay and would definitely visit again if we come in a large group!
